  • Account Information: When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from your Google account.
  • Uploaded Content: Stereo images and any associated titles or descriptions you upload to the Service.

  • Log Data: Your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, pages visited, and access times.
  • Cookies & Local Storage: We use local storage to remember your theme preference (light/dark mode). We use session cookies to keep you signed in.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and maintain the Service, including hosting and displaying your stereo images.
  • To authenticate your identity when you sign in with Google.
  • To communicate with you about your account or the Service.
  • To enforce our Terms of Service and moderate content.

4. Google User Data

When you sign in using Google, we request access to your basic profile information (name, email address, and profile photo). We use this data solely to create and manage your StereoViewer account. We do not:

  • Use your Google user data for purposes unrelated to the Service.
  • Allow humans to read your Google user data, except where necessary for security or legal compliance.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your account information and uploaded content for as long as your account is active.

  • Image Deletion: You can delete any of your uploaded images at any time from the "My Images" page. The image files are removed from our storage immediately.
  • Account Deletion: You can permanently delete your account from the user menu in the site header. This will immediately remove your account, all your uploaded images, and all associated data from our systems.

Anonymized, aggregated data (e.g. total page views) may be retained for analytics purposes.

6. Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication tokens, and restricted access to stored data. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

  • Request correction or deletion of your personal data.
